Responsibilities and Accountability:
- Greet and answer customers’ inquiries in a professional and courteous manner;
- Resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customers’ accounts quickly and professionally;
- Create a positive customer experience by understanding and meeting customers’ service needs accurately and efficiently;
- Process customer cash deposits and withdrawals, cheques, outward remittances, foreign exchange transactions, wire transfers, funds settlement, credit card payments, money orders, certified cheques, and other related banking transactions;
- Obtain and process information required for the provision of services, such as opening accounts, issuing letters of Credit, Standby LC, etc.;
- Sort and file deposit slips and cheques;
- Ensure the confidentiality of the Bank and its customers’ information;
- Provide administrative support, including filing documents and coordinating office upkeep with building management service to resolve facility-related issues
- Accountable for the general maintenance of the office including managing office supplies and keeping the office environment tidy and organized.
Job Specifications:
- Relevant post-secondary education with a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Ability to perform tasks in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Proven judgment and decision-making ability with demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle difficult customers with diplomacy
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Additional language ability: Mandarin/Cantonese Chinese
