Aaron’s Delivery Driver Assistants are recognized as the front line to our customers. As brand ambassadors, their goal is to provide a top-notch, red-carpet customer experience. As a Delivery Driver Assistant.
You will be responsible for merchandise handling such as loading, securing, and helping the sales team, assisting deliveries, setting up product installs, and demonstrating merchandise in our customer’s homes, while providing outstanding customer service along the way!

The Work
- Maintenance of Customers
- Verify correct product and accessories for delivery or return
- Ensure that all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to delivery
- Review necessary information sheets
- Load, secure, and protect the product in the delivery vehicle
- Offload, install and demonstrate merchandise
- Assist Delivery Drivers on route
- Deliver merchandise to customers’ homes and businesses-without additional damage
- Assist with merchandise returns-load and service products in a vehicle
- Assist on routine service calls and product exchanges
- Clean and certify merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center for all items returned
- Maintaining the store’s warehouse in a neat and orderly manner under GM’s instruction
- Assist in maintaining the showroom floor as per company guidelines
- Assist in documenting all vehicle movement on daily route sheets
- Conduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are met
- Confirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customers’ signatures on lease agreements
- Assist in field marketing programs as requested by store leadership
- Deliver prescribed company advertisements/flyers when in the field
- Other tasks as assigned by management
- Assist in maintaining QA section, warehouse organization, and light cleaning responsibilities in TM common areas
- Assist SM in showroom appearance including product placement, pricing, and general cleaning
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work schedule of hours varying from 8 am to 9 pm
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store and multitasking effectively
- A High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proper customer service etiquette
- Uphold Aaron’s Brand and protect company assets
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Strong technical skills and/or working knowledge of electronic products
