Job Description
We are looking for people who ideally have current or past experience supporting individuals in the following areas:
- Physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or acquired brain injury.
- Complex wound management.
- Seizure management.
- Complex bowel care.
- Urinary catheter management.
- Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastronomy.
- Stoma.
- Diabetic management.
- Medication administration including schedule 8
- Airway management – provision of airway management up to including tracheostomy care.

- The ability to undertake report writing, shifts notes, incident reports, and advocate for the customer.

- In collaboration with leaders and external providers, effectively facilitate positive outcomes for customers when complex/sensitive issues arise.
- Escalate serious/sensitive matters to the Coordinator or CS Manager and report incidents, complaints, or concerns in a timely way.
- Have extensive knowledge and understanding of restrictive practices and a commitment to working towards the reduction and elimination of these restrictive practices for customers.
- Be comfortable supporting all customers with their daily life needs (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.)

What we are looking for:
If successful through the recruitment process, we will need the below to have you start:
- Extensive experience working in the Disability Sector, and in the provision of an effective service for customers with complex needs.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.
- National Police Clearance no older than 6 months.
- Current WA Driver’s Licence.
- Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID010 or HLTAID003 minimum)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
