Role Responsibilities
- Interface with internal and external customers and visitors (including visitors from the Group) to the Head of HR’s office.
- Plan and schedule the workflow within the unit.
- Organize and schedule internal and external appointments.
- Provide administrative support in terms of handling, processing, storage, and retrieval of documents/correspondence.
- Contribute effectively to the smooth functioning of the Head of HR’s office.
- Facilitate maintenance of a routine follow-up schedule on critical issues requiring implementation.
- Help track customer queries/complaint resolution.
- Logistical support in arranging meetings, offsite, etc for HR
- Contribute effectively to the smooth functioning of the Head HR’s office.

- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
Ideal Candidate:
- Graduate with a minimum of two years of experience
- Previous experience in a Secretarial role, while preferable, is not essential.
- The ideal candidate would have:
- Good PC skills especially in Word/Powerpoint/Excel
- A bright and energetic disposition with a positive attitude
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, and telephone etiquette
- Self-motivation with a capacity to work independently
- Customer handling skills
- Capacity for handling multiple tasks and managing competing priorities
- Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential matters
- Eye for detail
