Graduate Consultant – Nuclear (Manchester)

My client, one of the world’s leading consulting and engineering companies, is looking for a Graduate Consultant to join their Nuclear Regulations team in Manchester. They are a multi-sector specialist consultancy that works with renewable energy, power, water, transportation, and life sciences.

Responsibilities

You will be assisting the team by being aware of all nuclear regulations and ensuring they are all kept to a high standard. You will provide support to the delivery of the team’s portfolio to aid their growing client base across the UK and abroad.

You will work across a range of fields including radioactive waste management, radiological impact assessment, decommissioning, design environmental optimization, permit compilation risk assessment, and more.

You will secure and deliver environmental permitting across the board and contribute to preparing proposals, negotiating with clients, and writing reports.

Requirements

• Degree in a related field (environmental, energy, chemistry, environmental energy).
• You will have an awareness of environmental issues and nuclear regulations.
• You will have the desire to work with Nuclear Permitting.
