Job Description
This role will provide oversight of day-to-day efforts to provide data assets for reporting and analytics products to key business units including, but not limited to, Marketing, Ticketing, Corporate Development, Texans Luxe, Event Services, and Lone Star Sports and Entertainment (“LSSE”).

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, monitor, maintain, and validate the procedures and pipelines of Data Acquisition, Integration (ETL/ELT), and Transformation (debt).
- Design and develop robust and automated Data Integrity, Quality Assurance, Cleansing, and Standardization procedures, and assist with designing data storage solutions to efficiently store and retrieve information.
- Assist the SVP of Business Analytics and Insights and collaborate with IT and Legal departments to create and implement the Data Governance policy.
- Implement, update and maintain the Identity Resolution, Customer Segmentation, and Customer Journey data assets.
- Collaborate with business analysts to find opportunities and requirements for Data Engineering solutions and ensure operational and business metric health by monitoring key decision points and providing actionable insights and data assets proactively.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to design, test, and implement robustly automated and/or batch Machine Learning solutions.
- Build and maintain Data Operation reports, and consistently build and update documentation for all data assets and procedures.
- Perform various other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by SVP, Business Analytics, and Insights.
- Subject to reasonable accommodations, the position requires routine face-to-face personal interaction with other Club personnel; therefore, job responsibilities must be physically performed in the Club offices and not in a telecommuting manner.
Skills Required:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.
- Strong Microsoft SQL programming and administration skills along with an understanding of database design and data collection methodology, including the underlying relational and dimensional data models
- Experience in building ETL/ELT processes to centralize and organize data, and a strong understanding of XML and JSON file structure
- Understanding of how to utilize cloud-based solutions such as Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience and ability to implement data operations and data science pipelines and applications in a general programming language such as Python
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience and knowledge of relational databases, such as SQL, as well as Data Transformation tools, such as debt.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience and knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while still being attentive to the detail and excellent work product required
- Ability to comprehend and debug complex systems integrations
- Creativity to engineer novel features and signals, and to push beyond current tools and approaches
- A highly analytical person with strong problem-solving and self-directed learning skills
- Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify the stories behind the patterns
- Decision-making capabilities with respect to duties and responsibilities including budget allocation and resource expenditure.

Supervisory Duties: Effectively perform all supervisory duties for the Data Operations Analyst and Data Operations Intern position(s) with responsibilities to include, but not be limited to, hiring, assigning, and prioritizing workload, managing day-to-day responsibilities, providing guidance, performance management, etc.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Data Engineering. A minimum of three (3) years of related sales experience is required.
- 3 years of experience working in building ETL/ELT processes to centralize and organize data, utilizing cloud computing and storage solutions, and implementing data operations and data science pipelines and applications.
