A Jr. IT Support Technician who will provide technical support to Accenture Federal Services (AFS) people in the San Antonio, TX office, as well as remote support around the US, to ensure that IT services are delivered to meet business needs
- Receives and responds to customer issues and requests while working in a team environment, following established procedures, and updating relevant systems as appropriate
- Exhibits proficient technical skills and excellent customer service
- Completes hardware upgrades and repairs troubleshoot software and completes other technical and non-technical tasks as necessary
- Primary owner of the Termination process for the San Antonio office
- Work closely with the Process lead to ensure all terminations are processed in a timely manner
- Perform follow-up and escalations as needed
- Works on special projects as needed
- Hours are 8 AM-5 PM, Monday-Friday, in the office, with infrequent overtime
- Hours are not flexible
Here’s what you need:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- 6 months of hands-on experience supporting/troubleshooting Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365
- 6 months of hands-on experience upgrading and repairing hardware
- 6 months of hands-on experience troubleshooting software
- Experience providing excellent customer service
- This role requires you to be in the San Antonio office 5 days a week
Other required skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
- Good organization, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication (oral and written) skills
Bonus points if you have:
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Microsoft Desktop certification(s)
- Mobile device (Android, iOS) support
- Experience repairing Dell laptops
- Experience with Mac
- Previous work on US Federal engagements
