Job Description
Are you keen to spend your day in an outstanding landscape entertaining our manuhiri on the longest and most sensational jet boat experience in the Queenstown area? We’re on the hunt for a Jet Boat Driver to come on board and join our passionate team at Dart River Adventures.
This is a varied role where, when you’re not out on tours up the river you will be assisting the mechanical team in the workshop and helping with other company logistics. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, then read on!
We have an opportunity available for an experienced jet boater and/or a comprehensive training program for someone eager to take their first step in this exciting industry.
We are looking for a driven individual who:
- Can impress our manuhiri with exceptional customer service skills
- Has safety at the heart of everything they do
- Is physically fit and mentally alert
- Works well in a team and keeps cool under pressure
- Is available to work shifts on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous tourism experience and mechanical know-how would be a bonus!
- Willingness to learn and embrace Māori cultural values and Tikanga (customs)
- Has a passion for outdoor adventuring
