Sales and Marketing Executive
As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you will be in charge of contacting and generating leads from medium and large CPG manufacturers, distributors, and other companies in order to develop custom, value-added packaging solutions that meet their packaging specifications.
- In charge of developing and managing a sales pipeline of potential new clients.
- Investigating new business opportunities to penetrate new accounts/leads.
- Actively seeking and carrying out client lead generation, personal meetings, cold calling, email marketing, lead nurturing, lead validation, and lead closing.
- Manage day-to day interactions with B2B and B2C customers in order to identify requirements, sales needs, and provide a comprehensive offering of products and services.
- Build and promote strong, long lasting customer relationships by collaborating with potential clients through personal meetings, phone calls, emails, and social media platforms to generate new leads, as well as maintaining rapport with existing clients by understanding their needs in a timely manner.
- Ensure that set sales targets are met on time, and provide management with feedback on opportunities, sales pipelines, and revenue forecasts.
- Analyze market needs, create account strategies, and create sales plans and prospects to target underserved markets and geographies.
- Prepare and submit to management weekly sales reports.
- Propose new products/services to clients by utilising all data resources to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
- Conduct business development activities to identify new customers and new business opportunities while adhering to the budget structure.
- Knowing the customer’s requirements, needs, and expectations, as well as constantly proposing solutions that will meet the client’s objectives and demands.
- Ability to work autonomously while also cooperating in a group setting
- Excellent upselling and cross-sellingÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- A strong ability to track and monitor customer accounts, organise priorities, and manage your calendar of events using a computerised system.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with 3+ years of progressive sales experience in one of the following industries: packaging, co-packing, warehousing, or logistic-based transportation.
