Job Summary:

At Target Hospitality the Operations Systems Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Operations team in any and all functions that help Target Hospitality achieve its operational goals.

This primarily will consist of operational systems management, including but not limited to the Property Management system, and any other operational, financial, or commercial systems or functions deemed necessary by the leadership teams from the Operations, Commercial, Information Technology, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting or Business Applications teams.

Essential Job Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Average Percent of Time

  • 70% – Operations Systems Management
    • Assist in the management of all operations & commercial systems, including but not limited to Infinity/THOR (current and/or future property front desk system), Oracle Contracts Module, iHotelier/Channel Manager, Tableau, Datawarehouse, SmartView, Expedia Partner Central.
    • Attend operations system development, implementation, and/or maintenance meetings to take notes for leadership, aid as required, provide feedback as needed, give operational guidance, etc.
    • Execute misc. system development, implementation, and/or maintenance tasks as required
    • Responsible for all de-bugging of in-house software
    • Develop and maintain operations system support function for all users
    • Develop and maintain new hire training and continued education efforts for operations systems
    • Monitor and assess daily system use for opportunities for enhancements
    • Field and assess enhancement recommendations from daily users
    • Assist in the prioritization of proposed system enhancements
    • Coordinate the execution, roll, and training required for all system enhancements
  • 10% – Reservations assistant
    • Assist the Operations and the Revenue Management/Reservations teams in analyzing occupancy and prioritizing reservation requests
    • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic audits and monitoring of client utilization within the front desk system to ensure system accuracy and that each Lodge is optimizing their inventory.
    • Communicate all operational changes, enhancements, and/or disruptions
    • Coordinate the prompt resolution of any reservations challenges that may arise by acting as an intermediary between lodge staff and clients
  • 5% – Misc. Departmental Intermediary
    • Act as intermediary for Operations Systems with other internal TH departments as needed
    • Provide operational system opportunity analysis as well as any additional insight required to TH Executive Leadership, Operations, Commercial, IT, Legal, Accounting, and Finance as needed.
  • 5% Meeting Attendance
    • Potential regular attendance and participation required in various operations, commercial, finance, legal, accounting & IT meetings, in addition to other ad hoc meetings as required.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

In addition to the performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.

  • Assist in the delivery and support of projects as required by senior management.
  • Assist in the delivery of system support as required.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
  • Service and maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and timely mitigation of any problems.

Education and/or Experience:

A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Degrees in Business Management, Information Technology or another related field are preferred but other bachelor’s degrees will be considered.

  • Intermediate PC/Information Technology troubleshooting skills.
  • SQL server/database administration experience
  • Intermediate to advanced coding experience such as C++, ColdFusion, Python, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and computer skills.
    • Intermediate/Advanced Word
    • Advanced Excel (V Lookup, macros, formulas, merging, sorting, sub-totals, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving deliverables within a timeline.
  • Technology expertise supported by knowledge of industry-standard databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and reporting applications.
