We are actively recruiting a Laboratory Data Analyst to join our vibrant team based in Leeds. In this role, you will analyze sample test engineering data from the laboratory and use industry-specific knowledge and judgment to turn it into relevant information for machine owners & maintainers.

Major Job Functions for the Laboratory Data Analyst

• Ensure the integrity of the data presented to customers and liaise with the Laboratory Supervisor to escalate any unusual trends that are observed.
• Support the Business Development Supervisor in the training of the Laboratory Trainee Diagnostician & Administrators.
• As Laboratory Data Analyst you will liaise with Laboratory Business Development Managers as new customers are identified – running sampling trials, etc.
• Liaise with the laboratory management group as required for effective account management.
• Maintain designated accounts from top to bottom in terms of the information held in the LIMS (account details, machines & contact details).
• Update test limits that are programmed into LIMS as requested by customer contacts or CAT, for example, liaising with the Technical Manager.
• Interpret laboratory test data and generate concise written reports for each and every sample submitted by the assigned customer base.
• Deal with technical inquiries, make setup changes to the system, and re-issue reports as required.
• Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc reports to the customer and/or management team.

Education and Experience for the Laboratory Data Analyst

Essential:

• Experience in an engineering or analytical environment is preferred.
• Ability to analyze numerical information and summarise it into an easy-to-understand format.
