Job Description
Cheerful, bright, and outgoing Part-Time After School Nanny in Santa Monica NEEDED for an 8-year-old little boy and his 5-year-old sister! The general schedule is Mon-Fri, 2:30 pm-6:30 pm (20 hours), and is very child-focused.
However, the family is willing to offer up to 25 hrs weekly if you’re willing to start earlier some days(1/1:30 pm) to help out with children’s laundry, organize their rooms and play areas, do light clean up around the house, and run family errands (UPS returns, Target run, grocery shopping, etc.).
They have a housekeeper for deep cleaning but would love additional support for day-to-day upkeep.
Your primary duties will involve school pick-up, driving the kids to and from various after-school activities (swim lessons, play dates, etc. – must be willing to use your own vehicle), helping with homework and school projects (keeping them on task!), planning fun activities and projects, engaging in play, and prepping simple snacks/meals for the kids after school.
The perfect nanny for this busy family is someone who is reliable, innately helpful, can go with the flow, is professional, and has tons of creative ways to keep them actively engaged!
