BSS/OSS Solution Architect
- 10+ years total experience in Telecommunication as a developer, architect, product manager, or in similar roles
- 2+ years experience as OSS Architect
- E2E understanding of Telecommunication BSS, Networks, Services, and Operation
- Cross-domain understanding of IT technologies
- Wide Understanding of Assurance, Inventory, Fulfilment ecosystem
- Wide Cross domain understanding of Telecommunication OSS-BSS interfaces, Networks, Services, Operations, Regulatory and Standards
- Programming experience in at least one higher programming language such as Python, Javascript, Java, C++
- Understanding and basic handling of different Operating Systems specifically LINUX
- Understanding of protocols such as SNMP, CORBA, SOAP, REST, CLI, SSH, SMTP, HTTPS, Netconf
- Good understanding of distributed SW architectures & containerization concept
- Understanding of Agile development processes and frameworks
- Experience in requirement gathering, estimations, solutions
- Experience in writing technical documentation
- Non-technical: very good analytical skills, communication skills, documentation & presentation skills, desire to learn, quick learner
- Understanding of standards (TMF, MEF, 3GPP, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in OSS in either Fulfilment, Assurance, or Inventory domains
- Fair understanding of the network layer and related technologies for various domains such as RAN, Fixed Access, Transport, Mobile Core
Good-to-Have * Understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, TAM - Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD approaches
- Knowledge in virtualization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack as well as container frameworks such as Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies and the most common Cloud Providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure
- Knowledge of AI, analytics, and Big Data
- Experience in steering a team of architects and technical staff
- Knowledge of Ethernet and IP layer protocols and technologies
